Whilst you will find some content is the same as you know from your Number Fun packs, all of the material has been revisited and much of it has been upgraded. All the teaching ideas have been, or are in the process of being, upgraded. The portal gives access to all the pre-2019 songs, plus a host of new material that will be released as portal exclusives. These are exclusive to the Number Fun Portal and will take your Number Fun experience to a new level.

Where did the idea of Number Fun come from?
‘After writing some Christian songs with Maths links in 1999, I was challenged to write again. What came out was a set of songs specifically written to support some of the Maths objectives for 3 to 7-year-old children. I trialed the songs in the Summer of 2001, and there was an overwhelmingly positive reception to the new material. That led to the first Number Fun Song Resource Pack being published in February 2003 and its sister resource, the Number Fun Activity Resource Pack being published in January 2004. Over the subsequent years I continued to write and publish songs that support mathematical objectives for children between 3 and 11 years of age, across all areas of mathematics. I hope you find them a tremendous support in your teaching of Mathematics!’
Is Number Fun suitable for children with special needs?
Due to the musical, visual and interactive nature of the material, the songs have proved a real winner with special needs schools and their children. Dave continues to lead Number Fun days in Special Schools.
Can I share a login?
Each portal login is for a single user. If the same login is used on another device, then the first one will be cut off. Please do not share your login!
What is the difference between a teacher login and a school login?
There is no difference in content available to each teacher. The school login is at a discounted rate when the school buys a login for each class within school. So, for a single form entry school with 7 classes purchasing a set of school logins, 7 logins will be provided plus an additional login for use by an office administer who can then control the login names and passwords for their school.
Can parents access the portal?
Parents are welcome to purchase a Teacher login. However, from January 2020, parents and their children will be able to access a specially designed set of resources for use at home. The Parent login will include access to the full track recordings, the video presentations and a parent ideas pack. The parent ideas sheet is included in the upgraded teacher notes for your information. You may like to use this as homework for your children.
